Description: Moving away from FFS and toward more innovative payment models can incentivize providers to deliver more comprehensive multi-disciplinary care. One example of a new payment model is the “Medicare Bundled Payment”. This payment includes multiple services over a period of time (an episode of care), rather than a single service on a day of service. To bill for these codes, providers need to shift to a perspective of treating a condition over time and with the affiliated services “ie the bundle” rather than billing for each service individually. Providers need to understand the risk and benefits of providing multiple services bundled together at a fixed cost.
During this webinar, HMA clinical and billing experts will discuss how and where bundles fit in the continuum of payment transformation and what new skills and approaches providers and their care teams will need to have in place for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder as a bundled payment.
The previously recorded webinar and associated materials are available in the resource library.
