Description: As the District of Columbia and its Medicaid Managed Care Plans continue to build toward an integrated health system that delivers whole-person care, value-based payment (VBP) is becoming an increasingly large segment of a Medicaid providers’ financial stability, including behavioral health providers. Achieving success in VBP arrangements requires understanding the payment mechanisms, how Behavioral health care fits into those payment mechanisms, the quality metrics in arrangements for Behavioral Health providers, and how to work as an integrated primary and behavioral health care team to target increased performance to improve care and outcomes and earn incentive payments.
In this webinar, participants will learn about the impact of behavioral health conditions on physical health and wellness, as well as the role of integrated care and VBP on mitigating cost and quality of care. Participants will learn more about the upcoming Integrated Care DC (ICDC) Value-Based Care Learning Collaborative and why participation is relevant and important for behavioral health providers, including learning from subject matter experts, peer-to-peer learning, and technical assistance to support your practice’s efforts related to value-based care.
Come learn about this learning collaborative and the critical role behavioral health providers play in value-based care for both primary and behavioral health conditions!
