Celebrating National Health Center Week at Integrated Care DC
August 4-10 marks National Health Center Week, a time to celebrate the vital role of health centers in our communities. The District of Columbia is home to eight Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and one Health Center Program Look-Alike. In 2022, they provided care for more than 180,000 people, or nearly 1 in 3 District residents. They also screened nearly 127,000 people for depression (70% of their patient population) and served 4,510 individuals seeking prenatal care.
Ensure Your Patients Maintain Their DC Medicaid Coverage
Ensure your patients renew their Medicaid coverage by August 30, 2024. Direct them to the DC Medicaid Renewal Information webpage for information on how to get or renew their Medicaid health insurance. This resource offers training videos, meeting recordings, and step-by-step guides on how to use the District’s online benefits portal, District Direct.
