- Maternity Care: Timeliness of Prenatal and Postpartum Care
Secure your spot by signing up today. There is no charge to participate, and our live webinars offer continuing education credit for physicians, nurses, social workers and other eligible practitioners. Participants will also receive tailored assistance through group and individualized sessions and enjoy opportunities to exchange perspectives with Medicaid managed care plans and with their peers.
And if you missed our initial learning collaborative session, catch up by watching the introductory webinar recording before the track-specific work kicks off on July 30, 2024. This session offers insights into Medicaid value-based payment mechanisms and why quality metrics and care team collaboration are key to enhancing performance, care outcomes, and incentive payments.

If you missed any of our live webinars, you can still catch up by watching recordings on-demand in the Learning Library.
Addressing Disparities in Opioid Treatment: BHG’s Quality Improvement Approach in Wards 7 and 8
As we observe National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month this July, it’s crucial to highlight the ongoing disparities in opioid-related health outcomes affecting communities of color in the District of Columbia. From 2018 through February 2024, deaths due to opioid use in the District continued to rise, with 85% of all deaths occurring among Black residents, particularly in Wards 5, 7, and 8, underscoring the need for targeted interventions.
